This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the architecture, design, and deployment of enterprise integration solutions tailored for intricate healthcare and enterprise settings.
• Establish enterprise integration strategies, standards, and best practices that align with long-term organizational goals.
• Conduct technical design sessions, architecture assessments, and technical requirements gathering workshops with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate current systems and technologies to propose scalable, secure, and manageable integration solutions.
• Create architecture documentation, integration specifications, technical designs, and various project deliverables.
• Design and execute integration solutions utilizing healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 V2, HL7 V3, and FHIR.
• Offer expertise in Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) architecture and patient identity management solutions.
• Assess solution methodologies, including custom development, Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and modified COTS solutions.
• Provide architectural direction throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning to implementation and operational support.
• Guide architects, developers, analysts, and technical teams while fostering architecture governance and best practices.
• Support enterprise integration services that can be utilized across various business units and solutions.
• Ensure that integration solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and in compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to guarantee successful project execution.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by providing enterprise architecture leadership and technical oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• At least 10 years of experience as a Senior Systems Analyst, Senior Business Systems Analyst, Integration Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing healthcare interoperability solutions using HL7 Version 2, HL7 Version 3, and FHIR.
• At least 2 years of experience in implementing or supporting Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) solutions.
• Experience working in large, complex enterprise or public sector environments.
• Availability for on-site work in Fredericton, New Brunswick, as necessary.
• Over 5 years of experience managing or leading technical teams, architects, developers, or systems analysts is a plus.
• More than 5 years of experience leading technical design workshops, architecture reviews, and technical requirements gathering sessions is advantageous.
• Over 5 years of experience in developing enterprise integration architecture deliverables and technical solution documentation is beneficial.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering enterprise integration services and reusable integration frameworks across various business domains is a plus.
• Over 5 years of experience implementing enterprise integration solutions that support long-term operational and maintenance lifecycles is preferred.
• More than 5 years of experience in evaluating and recommending solution methodologies, including custom-built, COTS, and hybrid solutions is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience serving as an architect on large-scale digital transformation projects while mentoring technical teams is preferred.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Pan-Canadian healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 V2, HL7 V3 (MR2009 and CeRx), and FHIR is a plus.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions is considered beneficial.
