Intake Specialist – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound communications including calls, emails, and chats related to healthcare inquiries.

• Collect accurate patient information and confirm insurance coverage and eligibility.

• Assist patients through the intake process with clarity, compassion, and professionalism.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions for patients and effective follow-ups.

• Thoroughly document all interactions and uphold compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Address concerns promptly while maintaining a high level of patient care.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare, medical, or call center settings (Required).

• Proficient in medical terminology, insurance verification, or prior authorization is highly advantageous.

• An empathetic communicator who ensures individuals feel safe and well-cared-for.

• Meticulous and precise, particularly with sensitive patient information.

• Comfortable using multiple systems and handling high call volumes.

• Knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations and dedicated to confidentiality and compliance.

• Adaptable to changing schedules and dependable in a fully remote work environment.
