Intake Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee new patient referrals and coordinate timely start-of-care appointments.

• Respond swiftly, communicate effectively, and manage details meticulously to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

• Act as a liaison among specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients.

• Utilize technology platforms to ensure efficient coordination, timely staffing, and successful delivery of care.

• Represent Float Health with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency as the initial point of contact for patients, pharmacies, and nurses.

• Address issues promptly and accurately to foster trust and create a seamless experience for all parties involved.

• Make staffing decisions that align with operational and financial goals.

• Identify opportunities for improving workflows, technology, and the overall user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in medical scheduling.

• Proficiency in utilizing multiple technology platforms simultaneously.

• Capability to manage incoming communication while supporting other responsibilities.

• Ability to type 60 words per minute with high accuracy.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Highly organized with outstanding time management abilities.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and convey complex information clearly to all users.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
