This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Address unpaid or denied claims utilizing proprietary software, phone communications, written correspondence, client systems, and insurance carrier web portals.
β’ Examine UB04 claim forms, Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and medical records to ascertain appropriate claim-resolution actions.
β’ Stay informed about client preferences and recognized issues.
β’ Achieve monthly production and quality standards.
β’ Adhere to HIPAA privacy regulations.
β’ Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ High School Diploma or its equivalent.
β’ A minimum of 1β2 years of experience in physician and/or hospital accounts receivable follow-up is required.
β’ Familiarity with UB04 claim forms, EOBs, and medical records is preferred.
β’ At least one year of experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is preferred.
β’ Understanding of basic computer functions.
β’ Capability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and percentage calculations.
β’ Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting documents, contracts, notes, and other communications.
β’ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment.
β’ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
β’ Capacity to work at a computer terminal for 6β8 hours daily.
β’ Ability to occasionally lift and transport materials weighing up to 20 lbs.
