Insurance Services Representative II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Gather and address outstanding insurance payments, including claims that are unpaid, denied, or underpaid.

• Communicate effectively while managing a high volume of claims accurately and efficiently.

• Exhibit quality and productive work practices.

• Utilize intermediate knowledge of departmental operations.

• Act as a resource for management and Level I colleagues.

• Carry out responsibilities in alignment with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• One year of experience in the revenue cycle or fulfillment of position-specific duties and responsibilities.

• Experience with EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory.

• Fundamental communication and customer service abilities.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Basic computer and typing skills.

• Must reside within 60 miles of Springfield, Missouri.
