This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Engage professionally via phone, email, and in-person with homeowners and insurance agents.
• Arrange and execute thorough on-site inspections of high-value residential properties in accordance with carrier-specific guidelines and protocols.
• Meticulously document custom construction features, premium finishes, and distinctive architectural elements.
• Gather detailed measurements, photographs, and site observations.
• Identify potential underwriting issues, hazards, and loss exposures.
• Create precise replacement cost estimates that reflect high-quality materials and craftsmanship.
• Submit comprehensive and timely web-based reports that adhere to carrier-specific standards.
• Relay on-site inspection details through Loss Control 360, accessible via the Signature website.
• Independently oversee and finalize on-site High Value Property Surveys.
• Direct experience in the role of a High Value Residential Insurance Inspector.
• Background in insurance inspections, loss control, underwriting support, or high-end home appraisals.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and custom features.
• Experience in estimating replacement costs for high-value residential properties.
• Proficiency in diagramming software such as Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD, or similar tools.
• Exceptional communication skills when collaborating with high-net-worth homeowners and insurance agents.
• Strong time management abilities and capability to work independently.
• Previous underwriting experience is a plus.
• Prior inspection experience with residential homes is preferred.
• Loss control experience is advantageous.
• Construction experience is desired but not mandatory.
• BA or BS degree is preferred but not required.
• Must possess a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
• Reliable late-model vehicle.
• Auto and General Liability Insurance required.
• High-speed internet access.
• Digital camera or smartphone with a camera of 16MP or greater.
• Measuring tools such as a laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel.
• Flexibility to operate within the local market.
