Insurance Policy Administration Domain Trainee – German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Conduct office-based administrative tasks to ensure the efficient and high-quality processing of requests, including specific analyses, from a variety of stakeholders such as external brokers, end clients, and internal underwriting teams.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for all inquiries from both external and internal stakeholders, addressing questions within the Admin scope and directing other inquiries to the appropriate departments or roles.

• Act as a liaison among Policy Administrators, Team Coordinators, and Team Leaders.

• Execute accurate, timely, and efficient data entry of insurance risks according to client standards to achieve Service Excellence, along with handling general administrative responsibilities.

• Uphold exceptional service standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Provide backup support to the Team Coordinator by ensuring relevant KPIs are updated and assisting in the analysis and preparation of management information reports as needed using various reporting tools and methods.

• Engage in and support process improvement initiatives.

• Contribute to technical support and the establishment of procedural best practices.

• Offer innovative ideas and support the Management Team in executing initiatives.

• Ensure there is a backup for senior tasks within the administrative team.

• Undertake more complex and time-intensive tasks.

• Serve as a reference point for technical and procedural best practices for other members of the Policy Administration Team.

• Assist in training new staff and actively participate in the transition of new tasks.

• Maintain and regularly update process documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Economic studies (such as finance, accounting, or related fields).

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.

• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, producing high-quality output even under pressure and during high-volume periods.

• Demonstrates curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a spirit of challenging conventions.

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan workload to meet deadlines effectively.

• Exhibit personal integrity.

• Personable and capable of easily building rapport and relationships.

• Strong customer focus.

• High motivation and eagerness to learn.

• Ability to thrive under time constraints.

• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
