This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Communicate with insurance providers to determine the status of claims and appeals, facilitating the progress of accounts through the claims processing system of insurers.
β’ Verify client systems and payer portals for status updates when possible.
β’ Support special projects for clients as needed.
β’ A High School Diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry.
β’ Capability to troubleshoot and resolve errors in claim submissions.
β’ Proven attention to detail.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Collaborative and adaptable team player.
β’ Strong creative problem-solving skills.
β’ Preferred 1-3 years of experience in insurance follow-up.
β’ Previous experience working from home is preferred.
