Insurance Follow-Up Specialist – Denials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Communicate with insurance providers to determine the status of claims and appeals, facilitating the progress of accounts through the claims processing system of insurers.

• Verify client systems and payer portals for status updates when possible.

• Support special projects for clients as needed.

• A High School Diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry.

• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve errors in claim submissions.

• Proven attention to detail.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Collaborative and adaptable team player.

• Strong creative problem-solving skills.

• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in insurance follow-up.

• Previous experience working from home is preferred.
