Insurance Expert – Belgian Market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Create and assess insurance proposals,

• Oversee business operations and associated risks,

• Assist team members in grasping the intricacies of healthcare and insurance.

• Develop successful products and pricing strategies to tap into new market segments,

• Leverage insurance expertise to secure major clients in Belgium,

• Explore new sectors such as the public sector to drive growth in Belgium,

• Improve our portfolio monitoring as it expands in scale and complexity,

• Foster relationships with regulatory entities and enhance compliance efforts,

• Collaborate with engineers to develop tools for crafting customized insurance solutions at scale,

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, particularly with health insurance products (hospitalization, group insurance, disability, or dental),

• Proficiency in English and French/Dutch,

• A blend of a scientific background (actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics, or data science) with hands-on experience in insurance (product development, pricing, regulatory, or analytics),

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, able to convert complex data, business, and legal queries into actionable insights,

• A builder mindset: consistently seeking opportunities to enhance and scale processes and systems,

• A commitment to transforming the insurance and healthcare sectors while challenging established norms,

• Clear, structured, and concise communication skills (both written and verbal).
