Insurance Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Provide outstanding service in a dynamic contact center by addressing complex inquiries, assisting with policy updates, and ensuring adherence to company and PCI standards.

• Maintain member retention through effective problem resolution, professional communication, and precise documentation of all interactions.

• Recognize opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products while keeping a customer-centric approach.

• Manage escalated contacts with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring collaboration with internal teams for a smooth customer experience.

• Continuously achieve and surpass individual and team performance targets in a high-volume setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is mandatory; a college degree is preferred.

• Proficient in computer usage, phone communication, typing, grammar, and multitasking.

• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to balance efficiency and quality in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong commitment to confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

• Availability to work extended hours, weekends, nights, and holidays.

• Team-oriented with effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license is necessary (or the ability to obtain one within 90 days; training and fees will be covered).

• Fluency in Spanish is required for the bilingual queue (assessment will be provided).

• Previous experience in insurance or call center environments is preferred.

• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

• Candidate must reside within 80 miles of 20 First Plaza Center NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102.
