This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Execute installation or service tasks as directed in an efficient and profitable manner.
• Log productive time in relation to travel time.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks per the designated service program for specific clients.
• Accurately maintain all work records and parts utilized at each job following established procedures.
• Stay informed on all updates and modifications to Stanley equipment and the Ansi156.10 standard as communicated through published materials.
• Keep manuals and details current as changes are communicated.
• Properly maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance both personally and in workmanship, in line with company policies.
• Ensure adequate parts inventory for the service vehicle and keep an inventory log.
• Test equipment before departing from the job site and conduct safety checks.
• Foster good customer relations and deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist and guide others in installation and service methods.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license without restrictions.
• Capability to lift weights between 75-100 lbs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to sit while driving for periods of up to 2 hours, though not limited to this duration.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for up to 8 hours, though not limited to this duration.
• Occasional stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, and spinal twisting is required.
• Vision must not be limited to near, far, or color perception.
• Ability to work in different climate conditions.
• A flexible work schedule is essential, including the possibility of working nights and/or weekends as necessary.
• An Associate's Degree in a relevant electrical, mechanical, or industrial field is preferred.
• Previous experience in the construction industry or electrical field is preferred.
• Prior experience in servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, constructing door frames, reading blueprints, and possessing AAADM Certification is preferred.
