This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• You will oversee and manage installations at various sites, ensuring that every project is completed safely and in accordance with RAMS, site regulations, and A-SAFE quality standards.
• You will provide leadership and guidance to your Installation Engineer, assigning tasks, setting clear expectations, and demonstrating best practices.
• You will serve as the main point of contact on-site for customers, managing their expectations and consistently representing the A-SAFE brand positively.
• You will plan, monitor, and control project delivery, ensuring installations remain on schedule, within scope, and budget.
• You will engage in hands-on work, including measuring, cutting, drilling, lifting, and working at heights, to ensure high-quality completion of tasks.
• You will interpret drawings and RAMS (increasingly via iPad), identifying and resolving issues while on-site.
• You will carry out precise job reporting, including photos and sign-offs, while documenting variations and opportunities for feedback to the business.
• You will effectively communicate progress, risks, and changes to the Operations, Commercial, and Sales teams.
• You will contribute to the evolution of the function as we introduce new products and an inspection/audit model, becoming custodians and auditors of our own products.
• A valid UK driving licence is required, as you will operate the crew vehicle and travel to various sites across the South.
• A solid understanding of health and safety protocols, RAMS, and safe working practices is essential.
• Practical experience in using hand and power tools safely and effectively is necessary.
• A background in a hands-on, installation-focused trade is preferred—such as construction, assembly, fencing, decking, landscaping, racking, shop or kitchen fitting, steel fitting, or highways/barrier installation.
• Ability to read technical drawings, measure accurately, and work within fine tolerances is required.
• Experience in leading, supervising, or coordinating teams on-site is essential.
• Must be comfortable with physical tasks and working at heights, along with maintaining a good level of fitness.
• Strong communication and IT skills are necessary, along with the confidence to engage with customers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel throughout the South of England and stay overnight during the week is important.
• An SSSTS (or higher) qualification and a CSCS card are desirable, as well as experience in construction sites or manufacturing/industrial facilities.
