This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise daily operations for residential solar installations.
• Coordinate installation schedules, crew assignments, and project priorities.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with SpartanX quality standards.
• Track installation progress and proactively address field issues.
• Confirm that projects are installation-ready before crew dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local code requirements during installations.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop installation teams.
• Conduct ride-alongs, job site visits, and performance assessments.
• Set productivity expectations and hold teams accountable for performance objectives.
• Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with workforce planning and allocation of manpower.
• Perform field quality inspections and installation audits.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies by all crews.
• Identify recurring installation challenges and implement corrective measures.
• Minimize callbacks, warranty work, and installation defects through ongoing quality enhancement.
• Collaborate with Scheduling, Service, Electrical, Permitting, Design, Engineering, and Inspections to maintain project momentum.
• Relay project updates and operational challenges to leadership.
• Provide support for service escalations and troubleshoot installation-related issues.
• Monitor operational KPIs and suggest process enhancements.
• Previous experience in residential solar installation is required.
• Previous leadership or management experience in installation is essential.
• Strong knowledge of residential solar construction, roofing, and electrical systems.
• Proven capability to lead and motivate field teams.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills are necessary.
• Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities are required.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
• Proficient with mobile technology, project management platforms, and CRM systems.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Experience as an Install Manager or Field Operations Manager is preferred.
• NABCEP certification is preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• An electrical or roofing background is preferred.
• Experience managing multiple installation crews across various markets is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
