Insight Practice Management Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive implementation of the NextGen PM system and related systems at designated locations.

• Collect requirements, evaluate workflows, strategize projects, and manage the implementation process, including training, go-live assistance, and transition to end-user support.

• Manage multiple projects while adhering to AMSURG platform standards.

• Work in partnership with Revenue Cycle teams and Business Operations Managers to deploy NextGen for specific project requirements.

• Develop systems, produce user documentation, and facilitate end-user training for ASC, CBO, and corporate personnel.

• Create repeatable implementation processes to ensure effective revenue cycle management.

• Implement post-go-live enhancements, ancillary products, and version upgrades through follow-up and phased training.

• Review, update, maintain, and utilize NextGen training resources.

• Provide Tier 2 NextGen support to center staff and Central Billing Office users.

• Evaluate configurations and design tailored modifications for centers, CBOs, and anesthesia entities.

• Resolve NextGen configuration and specification issues in coordination with vendors and payers.

• Act as a subject matter expert in implementation integrations, conduct system testing, and troubleshoot interface challenges.

• Support EDI Specialists with payer and claims-related inquiries.

• Analyze complex ASC workflows to enhance NextGen and vendor-product configurations.

• Organize meetings, demonstrations, and training sessions for center personnel.

• Provide training for both small and large groups, both onsite and remotely.

• Conduct performance evaluations for existing centers and practices to identify areas for efficiency improvement.

• Collaborate with vendors to address and resolve issues.

• Assess and modify configurations for upgrades and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Communicate issues and potential solutions to AMSURG staff and Operations teams.

• Develop and revise training materials, guides, and curricula.

• Monitor the Background Business Processor as required.

• Travel approximately 30–50% for site evaluations and go-live support.

• Adhere to company policies and Information Security guidelines.

• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance, and undertake other assigned responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent of four years of professional experience in a relevant healthcare setting.

• Minimum of two years of direct experience with NextGen Practice Management version 5.8 or higher.

• Comprehensive understanding of revenue cycle workflows in ambulatory surgery centers and/or medical practices.

• Capability to fulfill required responsibilities effectively.

• Preferred: two years of Practice Management training experience in medical practices or surgery centers, or equivalent Project Lead/Core Team experience on EPM installations with configuration and table-maintenance duties.

• Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is an advantage.

• Billing Office management experience or strong knowledge of billing, CPT, and ICD-10 coding is preferred.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for 5010 and ICD-10 is highly desirable.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%.

• Ability to conduct training in both onsite and remote environments.

• Proficiency in collaborating with Revenue Cycle teams, Business Operations Managers, vendors, payers, EDI Specialists, and Operations teams.
