This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute audits of inpatient coding and documentation to guarantee precision and adherence to regulations.
• Examine clinical and coding data to uncover trends and opportunities for enhancement.
• Conduct reviews of medical records and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to offer feedback, education, and guidance on best practices.
• Act as a coding Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support product development and innovation.
• Work together with Data Science and Product teams to improve performance and insights.
• Keep abreast of coding guidelines and industry developments.
• CCS, CIC and/or CDIP certification required (CCDS preferred).
• 3–5+ years of experience in inpatient coding.
• Strong background in auditing, data analysis, and client engagement.
• Capability to simplify complex coding concepts into understandable insights.
• Robust knowledge of coding regulations, documentation standards, and industry changes.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration; experience in healthcare technology is a plus.
