This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Install, maintain, and educate customers on graphic and textile inkjet machinery sold and supported by Nazdar.
• Effectively engage with Nazdar clients at locations throughout the continental USA.
• Offer remote technical assistance via phone and computer.
• Collaborate with the sales team to uncover new sales prospects when equipment is outdated or inefficient.
• Set up, operate, and showcase inkjet printing machinery at select trade shows.
• Travel to printing facilities using a company-provided vehicle.
• Compose comprehensive service reports detailing completed tasks, parts utilized, and equipment suggestions.
• Deliver advanced phone support on digital printing machinery, inks, media, software, and finishing techniques.
• Execute tasks in accordance with safety, quality, and efficiency protocols.
• Provide weekly updates on activities, field issues, direct report challenges, and vendor support matters to the manager.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
• Reside in Texas.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, subject to an annual check by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in all facets of inkjet printing, including wide/super wide, solvent, UV, and aqueous inks, graphic and textile applications, prepress color management, software file output, and color profiling.
• Practical experience with wide-format inkjet printers like Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh, EFI, or comparable equipment.
• Comprehensive understanding of art creation, inkjet printing, and finishing processes.
• Capability to read and comprehend safety regulations, operating and maintenance manuals, product literature, regulatory documents, equipment schematics, and service guides.
• Proficiency in resolving practical and intricate problems within time constraints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Operational knowledge of one or more RIP software programs: Versaworks, Wasatch, Caldera, EFI Fiery, or Onyx.
• Familiarity with networking, Internet, web access, and electronic file transfer capabilities.
• High mechanical aptitude and confidence in using tools.
• Ability to collaborate and work efficiently with others to resolve issues.
• Understanding of electrical systems and printing equipment requirements in various environments.
• Willingness to travel by car for extended durations.
• Ability to communicate verbally and audibly.
• Close, distance, and peripheral vision capabilities.
• Ability to occasionally lift weights up to 75 pounds.
• Recommended certifications in inkjet equipment.
• Recommended certifications in RIP software and color management.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in computer graphics or graphic arts is preferred, but not mandatory.
