📋 Description

• We are seeking a Security Engineer with proven experience in implementing security controls, incident response, and regulatory compliance review.

• The ideal candidate has a work history of 4 to 6 years in similar roles.

• They are technically self-sufficient and capable of developing complex functionalities as well as executing larger-scale projects.

• While they may require support for making significant decisions, they are proficient in the tools and processes of their role, granting them the autonomy to perform effectively.

• The expectation is for them to optimize their time, maintain productivity, and take on new assignments, blending effective execution with continuous professional development while contributing knowledge to the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Information Security: Solid knowledge in information security and cybersecurity.

• Technologies and Platforms: Technical experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows, legacy systems), databases, secure networking, web applications, cloud architecture, microservices, APIs, and mobile applications.

• Risk Management: Understanding of risk management, compliance, and security governance.

• Vulnerability Management: Familiarity with vulnerability management and CVSS concepts.

• Reporting and Metrics: Experience in creating security reports and metrics.

• Mexican Regulations: Preferable knowledge and compliance with Mexican regulations regarding Information Security (CNBV and Banxico).

• Security Frameworks: Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP.

• Secure Development: Knowledge of secure development principles and software lifecycle.

• Desired Certifications: CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO27001:2022, ISO31000:2018.

• Soft Skills: Effective communication and negotiation abilities.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.

• Academic Background: Engineering in Computing, Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Systems (degree obtained).

• English: Advanced level.

• Office: Advanced knowledge of Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
