This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• You will be responsible for leading the functional definition and evolution of digital products for a client in the banking sector.
• You will act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring that the team delivers continuous value through clear backlog management, well-defined acceptance criteria, and a vision aligned with business objectives, compliance, and customer experience.
• Gather and translate business needs into clear and actionable epics, features, and user stories.
• Prioritize the backlog with a focus on value, risk, dependencies, and regulatory compliance.
• Define objectives, roadmap, and scope for releases alongside stakeholders.
• Develop functional requirements (flows, business rules, exceptions) and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure product consistency: journeys, edge cases, transactional rules, user messages.
• Validate deliverables with the business (UAT), ensure traceability, and support the QA team.
• Facilitate workshops with banking areas (channels, operations, risk, compliance, technology).
• Manage expectations, dependencies, and decisions by communicating progress and risks in a timely manner.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, daily, review, retrospective).
• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Senior Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar roles in digital products.
• Proven experience in the banking sector, ideally with products such as: Accounts, transfers, payments, cards, loans, onboarding, authentication/authorization, core banking, reconciliations.
• Proficiency in agile practices: backlog management, prioritization, story definition, acceptance criteria, DoR/DoD.
• Ability to model processes and rules: BPMN (desirable), process mapping, functional documentation, handling exceptions.
• Skills to negotiate and align multiple stakeholders with clear communication and a results-oriented approach.
• Focus on quality and control: requirements traceability, functional testing, UAT, change management.
• Desirable (not mandatory): Knowledge of frameworks/regulations and cross-cutting issues: KYC, AML, SARLAFT, security, privacy, audit.
• Understanding of APIs and integration (functional understanding of contracts, events, processes).
• Experience in digital channels (web/mobile) and improving journeys.
• Certifications: PSPO / CSPO / Scrum (desirable).
• Experience with tools: Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma (functional reading), Azure DevOps.
