This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Establish the technical direction and make architectural choices across all Infrastructure Security areas.
• Oversee security infrastructure evaluations for both new and existing systems.
• Create and uphold technical standards, security policies, and security baselines across various domains.
• Take charge of the Vulnerability Management process throughout infrastructure domains.
• Foster technical development and provide mentorship to team members.
• Serve as a Tier 3 technical escalation point during Incident Response incidents.
• Minimum of 7 years in infrastructure security, with at least 3 years in an Architect or Lead capacity.
• Strong investigative and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in developing security processes within a corporate environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience with at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, GCP, or OCI) focusing on security services.
• Proficient in Linux system administration.
• Expertise in server hardening: CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIG, and immutable OS concepts (e.g., Talos Linux).
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: SaltStack and Terraform.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes security: RBAC, Pod Security Standards, Admission Controllers, and NetworkPolicy.
• Experience in development and automation using Python or Go.
• Familiarity with SQL and ESQL/DSL (ElasticSearch).
• Proven experience in providing technical mentorship and breaking down tasks for team members.
• Strong understanding of Common Secure Network Architectures, Firewalls, and IDP/IPS environments.
• Practical experience in designing and implementing Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
• Ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral formats.
• Capability to translate security requirements into policies, standards, and control frameworks.
• Knowledge of enterprise security architecture frameworks (TOGAF/SABSA).
• Upper Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
