Infrastructure Security Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Infrastructure Security team, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and effective execution.

• Define and implement the Infrastructure Security strategy, roadmap, standards, and operational model.

• Prioritize team initiatives based on security risks, business impact, engineering capacity, and regulatory obligations.

• Oversee security across infrastructure environments, including cloud platforms, Kubernetes, endpoints, privileged access management, remote access, and vulnerability management.

• Develop scalable processes for risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and collaboration across functions.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to integrate security early and enhance execution.

• Clearly communicate infrastructure security risks, priorities, trade-offs, and progress to technical teams and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, including experience in leading and managing technical security teams.

• Strong expertise in Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, or Platform Security.

• Experience in translating security objectives into clear roadmaps, priorities, ownership models, and measurable results.

• Proven leadership abilities with experience in coaching, delegation, providing feedback, and developing teams.

• Capability to influence stakeholders and drive change across cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.

• Nice to have: Experience securing infrastructure in high-risk or regulated environments such as iGaming, Crypto, FinTech, or similar industries.

• Experience in transitioning a security function from reactive execution to a structured, scalable security program.

• Experience in leading distributed or fully remote technical teams.

• Practical experience with Zero Trust models, secure remote access, AWS, OCI, and Google Workspace Security.

• Experience in digital asset or cryptocurrency infrastructure security.
