This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as a point of escalation and provide support for the Desktop Support Group and systems engineers.
• Collaborate on a long-term project for a client in the Insurance sector based in the UK.
• Monitor Windows Server versions 2016-2025 (using Logic Monitor) and address any issues that arise.
• Familiarity with SCCM as a tool for patching Windows 11 and Servers.
• Understanding of Patch My PC in conjunction with SCCM and InTune.
• Implement change management and compliance procedures effectively.
• Function as a technical engineer on designated projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft InTune for managing cloud-native laptops.
• Competence in scripting using PowerShell.
• Support, maintain, and administer third-party applications, including Microsoft Cloud products (O365, Azure, Teams).
• Oversee and sustain VMware VDI Horizon desktop environments utilizing flash storage.
• Manage and uphold Azure Entra ID, Windows Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Knowledge of Windows Server Core operating system.
• Administer and maintain VMware clusters.
• Handle administration of Azure permissions, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Familiarity with TerraForm in relation to Azure.
• Understanding of CyberArk.
• Support and maintain SQL Server and Business Intelligence environments.
