Infrastructure Domain Architecture – Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and implement security infrastructure that aligns with both architectural and operational requirements.

• Emphasize security within datacenters, management of firewalls, DNS hardening, and automation of security delivery.

• Create comprehensive security deployment plans detailing implementation phases, required resources, and timelines.

• Set up and configure security solutions according to established security standards and best practices.

• Keep meticulous documentation of the security environment, including configurations, protocols, and justifications for decisions made.

• Regularly assess implementation processes for their effectiveness and alignment with the organization's objectives.

• Detect discrepancies or inefficiencies in processes and suggest corrective measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience with datacenter security, VLAN, VPN, and remote access solutions.

• Practical experience with firewalls, including ACLs, VPNs, and IPS/IDS systems.

• Proficient in vulnerability management, security patching, and CIS hardening for firewalls and DNS devices.

• Strong background with Infoblox Grid solutions, DNS RFC standards, and methods for hardening and securing internet-facing DNS.

• Experience in developing and supporting new security and access products in collaboration with architecture teams.

• Automation of security delivery using Ansible, with the capability to collaborate with software development teams using Python.

• Proficient in English (C1 level minimum).
