Information Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Performing comprehensive evaluations of IT systems

• Examining a variety of threat intelligence sources

• Implementing strategies to protect applications and data

• Creating and sustaining strong access control measures

• Managing security incidents and overseeing the IT environment

• Setting up and resolving issues with security infrastructure devices

• Crafting innovative technical solutions and security tools

• Producing necessary reports related to security

• Keeping up-to-date with the latest security news, trends, and emerging vulnerabilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Information Security

• Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or Forensic Computing

• Certifications are a plus: CEH, CCSLP, CCSK, SANS GIAC, SSCP, MCSE, MCSA, CISSP, CISA, or CCSP

• Strong understanding of Checkpoint Technologies

• Technical expertise in Windows and Linux environments

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 environments

• Experience with MS Endpoint implementation

• Background in Vulnerability Management

• Experience in deploying and configuring perimeter defense mechanisms

• Proven ability to work independently
