Information Security Consultant – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to plan, implement, and manage ISMS and compliance frameworks.

• Perform gap analyses, identifying and prioritizing necessary measures.

• Draft and align policies, processes, role models, Statements of Applicability (SoA), and supporting evidence.

• Prepare for and assist with both internal and external audits.

• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable operational models.

• Engage regularly with technical, organizational, and management stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in information security, ISMS, GRC, IT projects, or process management.

• Strong enthusiasm for client-oriented consulting and co-developing solutions.

• Capability to clearly and understandably explain complex security topics.

• Experience with ISO/IEC 27001 (or a strong willingness to quickly learn).

• Knowledge of SOC 2, C5, NIS2, or GDPR is considered an advantage.

• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365/SharePoint.

• Excellent proficiency in both German and English languages.
