This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
• Lead and carry out comprehensive security assessments across various organizations for a wide range of clients in multiple sectors.
• Conduct client interviews autonomously, both in virtual settings and on-site.
• Assess policies and procedures while evaluating physical and operational controls.
• Oversee the entire assessment lifecycle from initial planning and execution to documentation and final reporting.
• Handle multiple client assessments, deadlines, and deliverables concurrently.
• Convey intricate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exhibit technical credibility during client interactions.
• Document assessment results and present findings to leadership teams of clients.
• Identify and prioritize security remediation efforts in collaboration with clients.
• Educate clients on information security principles and recommend appropriate controls.
• Provide insights related to relevant regulatory frameworks and best-practice information security standards.
• Continuously maintain and enhance technical and security knowledge.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in information security or a related discipline, encompassing both work and educational backgrounds.
• Strong grasp of fundamental Information Security concepts.
• Experience in managing risk assessments across various industries is preferred.
• A strong drive to pursue a career in information security.
• Fundamental understanding of information security foundations, such as asset management, data security, network management, physical security, and security governance.
• Self-driven and actively seeks opportunities for learning.
• Capability to independently conduct diverse Information Security-focused risk assessments.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in managing competing priorities and adhering to strict deadlines across multiple engagements.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to foster strong client relationships and communicate findings in a clear and professional manner.
• Skill in translating complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations and business language.
• Proven technical confidence and credibility when discussing security concepts, frameworks, and vulnerabilities.
• Excellent interviewing, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Professional certifications such as Network+, Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or similar are preferred but not mandatory.
• Only candidates residing in the United States will be considered.
• Willingness to work outside of regular business hours occasionally to accommodate time zones of United States clients.
• Regular travel, both local and long-distance, is required.
