Information Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Conduct fundamental to intermediate security evaluations, pinpoint high-risk vulnerabilities in security architecture, and formulate security risk management strategies.

• Take the lead in collecting evidence for security compliance assessments, security evaluations, or cybersecurity incidents and events.

• Identify high-risk security breaches and take the necessary actions to report and resolve incidents.

• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, while also managing relationships with vendors and contractors.

• Regularly applies foundational to moderately complex risk-based methodologies.

• Offers sound recommendations grounded in best practices to data owners, users, and senior leadership.

• Oversees critical security tools and platforms.

• Independently executes a significant volume of common to intermediate security risk assessments.

• Directs the response to security incidents and identifies and escalates security violations.

• Conducts basic to intermediate security evaluations.

• Exhibits knowledge of related IT and assurance disciplines.

• Identify, evaluate, document, and communicate emerging or complex data security and data privacy risks.

• Coordinate and manage the comprehensive service provided to a customer from start to finish.

• Serve as the primary contact while overseeing the daily administration of security platforms.

• Foster security awareness by advising data owners, data custodians, and senior leadership.

• Carry out third-party data security risk assessments, project security assessments, business risk assessments, and security testing for various company systems.

• Act as the lead for assigned security projects and initiatives.
