Information Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Analyze vulnerability reports.

• Investigate scalable solutions for addressing vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with Support/NOC to ensure that remediation efforts have a minimal impact on clients and to facilitate maintenance windows.

• Partner with CS/Engineering to script and automate remediation processes.

• Monitor progress in the ticketing system, including master tickets for multi-client projects and sub-tickets for individual clients.

• Manage vulnerabilities related to clients' third-party vulnerability management.

• Deliver accurate and timely responses to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).

• Review and evaluate findings from risk assessments and penetration testing.

• Engage in Business Impact Analyses and tabletop exercises.

• Initiate the measurement of alignment with Microsoft benchmarks in Intune.

• Execute test restores.

• Analyze our KnowBe4 phishing tests and training outcomes.

• Review SIEM logs.

• Aid in managing cybersecurity incidents.

• Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support the security team and the organization.

• Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles and practices.

• Experience in vulnerability management and remediation efforts.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and associated security benchmarks.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong capacity for independent work.

• Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).

• Familiarity with RMM/SOAR and other automation platforms.

• Proficiency in scripting.

• Experience in writing runbooks.

• Experience in an MSP environment (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Relevant certifications (AZ-500, SC-900, SC-300, CompTIA Security+, etc.).
