This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of current conditions or historical events in residential, commercial, industrial, and public settings.
β’ Assess and manage exposure to health risks, including noise, microbial contaminants, fire effluents, mold, workplace accidents, and other relevant issues based on qualifications.
β’ Utilize sampling and testing instruments effectively.
β’ Engage with clients to discuss project scope, timelines, and budgetary considerations.
β’ Create both oral and written reports detailing your findings, analyses, and conclusions.
β’ You may be called upon to provide testimony in depositions and/or trials.
β’ Travel locally is expected, with occasional overnight assignments required.
β’ A bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
β’ 5 to 10 years of pertinent work experience.
β’ Certification as an Industrial Hygienist is mandatory.
β’ Robust regulatory knowledge, particularly regarding Federal and/or state OSHA regulations.
β’ The preferred candidate should possess knowledge of or experience in building sciences.
β’ Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
β’ Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
β’ Ability to wear a tight-fitting respirator is necessary.
