Industrial Hygienist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of current conditions or historical events in residential, commercial, industrial, and public settings.

• Assess and manage exposure to health risks, including noise, microbial contaminants, fire effluents, mold, workplace accidents, and other relevant issues based on qualifications.

• Utilize sampling and testing instruments effectively.

• Engage with clients to discuss project scope, timelines, and budgetary considerations.

• Create both oral and written reports detailing your findings, analyses, and conclusions.

• You may be called upon to provide testimony in depositions and/or trials.

• Travel locally is expected, with occasional overnight assignments required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.

• 5 to 10 years of pertinent work experience.

• Certification as an Industrial Hygienist is mandatory.

• Robust regulatory knowledge, particularly regarding Federal and/or state OSHA regulations.

• The preferred candidate should possess knowledge of or experience in building sciences.

• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.

• Ability to wear a tight-fitting respirator is necessary.
