Independent Property Field Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee all assigned claims with minimal supervision.

• Make claim determinations within delegated authority according to company and carrier guidelines.

• Precisely interpret policy coverages and implement appropriate claims procedures.

• Set and communicate reserves in accordance with carrier expectations.

• Keep current with insurance policies, regulations, and industry standards.

• Submit additional reports as necessary.

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all insured individuals, clients, and stakeholders.

• Uphold high standards of professional behavior throughout all tasks.

• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing property claims.

• At least 2 years of experience utilizing Xactimate and Symbility estimating software.

• Strong comprehension of insurance policies, practices, and procedures.

• General knowledge of construction is highly preferred.
