Incident Management Team Member – Response Cadre

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Function within the frameworks of Incident Command Systems (ICS) and National Incident Management (NIMS).

• Assist in the activation and operation of Emergency Operation Centers (EOCs) during incidents and training exercises.

• Facilitate the successful achievement of our clients' incident objectives while collaborating with various partner agencies and Emergency Support Functions (ESFs).

• Manage logistics and resources to bolster field operations and mission execution.

• Possess knowledge of the emergency management system and the coordination among jurisdictions during large-scale incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related discipline.

• Experience in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) or as part of an Incident Management Team (IMT).

• Familiarity with the National Incident Management System (NIMS).

• Proficient in the Incident Command System (ICS).

• Preferred completion of All-Hazards Position Specific training courses and/or credentials.

• Completion of Task Book(s) for Command and General Staff and/or Support Positions is preferred.

• Capacity to work 12-hour shifts as required based on client operational tempo.

• Available and willing to be on-call for travel within 24 to 72 hours of notice and to be deployed for a minimum of 30 days anywhere in the United States.
