Import Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Process and integrate customer information.

• Assist with the transportation of goods across international borders.

• Act as the liaison for customer service.

• Address issues related to billing and shipment tracking.

• Foster relationships with customers.

• Prepare documentation for import customs clearance.

• Monitor and trace shipments.

• Communicate with CBP and PGAs to resolve concerns.

• Manage confidential information.

• Open files and input data into corporate systems.

• Ensure adherence to government regulations.

• Maintain communication with customers, carriers, and suppliers.

• Coordinate shipments to the customer's destination.

• Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in customs brokerage.

• Previous experience in logistics.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

• Experience with CMUS or Cargowise is preferred.

• Background in working at a CHB firm is preferred.
