Implementation/Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Client Engagement & Communication: Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their unique needs, thoroughly examining their trading data, and addressing any technical inquiries and implementation obstacles.

• Data Analysis: Evaluate intricate financial and trading datasets to uncover issues, trends, and opportunities for optimization, ensuring accurate and dependable implementation results.

• Custom ETL Development: Create and construct client-specific ETL processes, particularly for applications such as Trade Surveillance and Transaction Cost Analysis.

• Customization of Standard Products: Develop tailored code to modify our core products to fulfill individual client specifications, ensuring seamless integration with their systems.

• Maintain and Troubleshoot Pipelines: Guarantee the continuous functionality of data pipelines, proactively troubleshooting and working alongside the product development team to address issues.

• Continuous Improvement: Engage in enhancing processes, tools, and solutions while acquiring knowledge of proprietary technologies like OneTick.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong Python Skills: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Python, capable of effortlessly writing and modifying code, possessing a solid grasp of Python syntax, and familiarity with data analysis using Pandas is advantageous.

• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience working with complex systems, understanding the interactions between various components, and troubleshooting code effectively.

• Good Awareness of Development SDLC Best Practices.

• Experience with Troubleshooting: This includes practical knowledge of Linux, log analysis (Grafana, Sentry, etc.), and delivering structured and reasonable Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Experience in troubleshooting Kubernetes pods is also required.

• Attention to Detail Combined with Multitasking: A precise and thorough approach to your work, emphasizing accuracy while being able to shift between tickets and clients.

• Communication Skills: Proficiency in English, with the capability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Team and Independent Work: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently to meet deadlines and resolve issues.

• Client-Focused: A strong desire to engage with clients, learn new technologies, and adapt to proprietary systems such as OneTick.
