This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Advocate for the client’s Biosimilar products within Immunology, Dermatology, Oncology Physician Offices, and Integrated Health Systems.
• Meet and exceed sales expectations for the promoted Biosimilar products in the designated territory.
• Introduce new products into intricate integrated health systems.
• Create and execute business plans that align with the Client’s customer-facing roles.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with Account Team members in hospital and physician-owned infusion centers to engage decision-makers, expedite purchasing cycles, and generate new orders.
• Execute national strategies and initiatives.
• Adhere to company and client employee compliance policies and procedures.
• Regularly collaborate and communicate with the Client’s customer-facing roles.
• Foster positive working relationships with healthcare customers and client contacts.
• Report directly to the Associate Director, Area Manager.
• Travel within the territory and attend work-related meetings and events, which may include overnight and weekend travel.
• Submit and maintain the necessary credentials and documentation for compliant access to hospitals or healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in biopharmaceutical sales or relevant healthcare sales or services.
• Willingness to travel as required within the territory, including overnight and/or weekend trips.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of client training is mandatory.
• Ability to maintain necessary credentials, including vaccination status, training, HCP/Hospital policies, and other job-related documentation.
• Preferred: At least 3 years of specialty sales experience selling biologics in Immunology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, or Oncology.
• Preferred: Experience with specialty pharmacy products, buy and bill, and/or business-to-business selling models.
• Preferred: Experience in managing complex accounts and territories.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with various customer-facing roles.
• Preferred: Background in hospital environments, infusion centers, and specialty pharmacy.
• Preferred: Understanding of billing codes, reimbursement, support, medical benefits dynamics, and managed care environments.
• Preferred: Experience working with Medicare Part B.
• Possess intellectual curiosity and effective selling skills, including the ability to ask probing questions.
• Strong ethical standards and compliance knowledge for working in a regulated industry.
• Technical proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to enhance the utilization of an infused product within a complex integrated healthcare system.
• Representatives in specific jurisdictions or hospital systems may be required to obtain certain licenses.
