Identity Security Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and provide support for Privileged Access Management (PAM) services across various enterprise environments.

• Integrate applications, systems, credentials, and roles into PAM platforms.

• Create and sustain secure, scalable, and automated access control solutions.

• Provide assistance for enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies, including Microsoft Entra ID, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and related services.

• Utilize Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve platform availability, resilience, and operational efficiency.

• Create automation solutions through scripting and API integrations.

• Monitor platform performance using observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.

• Investigate and address security, reliability, and operational incidents within predefined service level agreements.

• Engage in infrastructure upgrades, testing, deployments, and change management procedures.

• Develop and uphold Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.

• Collaborate with global teams, customers, and vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and enhance platform services.

• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and adhere to security standards.

• Support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement focusing on security, automation, and service reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of comprehensive IT experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in Security Engineering, Security Operations, IAM, or PAM.

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration.

• Experience in supporting cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure environments.

• Basic scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or comparable tools.

• Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred: Experience with BeyondTrust, CyberArk, or other enterprise PAM platforms.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Intune.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud IAM services.

• Preferred: Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or other monitoring and observability tools.

• Preferred: Background in DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices.

• Preferred: Experience with OpenShift, VMware vSphere, SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.

• Preferred: Experience working in a globally distributed team environment.

• Preferred: Understanding of Agile methodologies and Jira.
