This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for projects.
• Grasp and oversee the work program to ensure that estimates are finalized before deadlines.
• Execute field take-offs/evaluations for the purpose of estimate preparation.
• Review various project documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Engage in the estimate review process with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support construction personnel throughout the project lifecycle in tracking and comprehending the basis of cost estimates.
• Aid in the preparation and submission of change orders.
• Follow up upon project completion to finalize any outstanding issues in the estimating process.
• Conduct thorough analysis of contract documents and specifications for medium to large hard bid/lump sum projects to ascertain overall project requirements.
• Take responsibility for medium to large estimates or a component of larger estimates, being accountable for that specific work scope.
• Finalize the cost estimate by incorporating all labor, equipment, material data, pricing documentation, overhead, and profit margins, resulting in a complete bid submission.
• Identify associated risk factors, including monitoring published addenda that may impact the original project scope.
• Perform a comprehensive quantity take-off of all labor, equipment, and materials, capturing trade scopes and identifying gaps or missing information.
• Collaborate with the sales development and project management teams to formulate site logistics, scheduling, and execution plans.
• Review current pricing for materials and construction equipment to ensure bid validity and address price escalation in alignment with project needs.
• Assist or lead in preparing final bid documents for submission to clients to meet contract deadlines.
• Support estimating activities across multiple office locations.
• Maintain data within E2 systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly preferred; relevant education and experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree.
• RCDD certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of five (5) years experience in estimating large scale HYPERSCALE data center projects, including mission-critical data centers and colocation facilities.
• Experience in the Structured Cabling/Low Voltage industry is required.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam is REQUIRED.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/BIM360 is preferred.
• A proven understanding of the nuances involved in the Hyperscale market, including the differences in design among major hyperscale customer infrastructure platforms, is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Demonstrated ability to design, engineer, estimate, and create both written and graphic representations of the company's proposed solutions using the software tools provided.
