This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families.
• Evaluate patient conditions and decide on the best course of action.
• Work in collaboration with on-call teams to organize care and resources.
• Ensure precise documentation of all interactions and interventions.
• Maintain a calm and professional attitude while managing urgent calls.
• Offer essential after-hours support and coordinate care for patients utilizing hospice services.
• Record calls using electronic medical records and client-specific protocols.
• Current multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.
• Proficient with technology and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Capable of typing documentation and notes in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to manage stress and multitask effectively while taking calls.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Competent to work independently in a remote setting.
• Dependable attendance, proactive communication, and reliable internet access during all scheduled shifts.
• $2 shift differential for overnight shifts.
• $2 shift differential for weekend shifts (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday).
• PTO accumulation for both part-time and full-time nurses, based on annual hours worked.
• Eligibility for the 401(k) plan for part-time and full-time nurses.
