This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate the requirements of children and families and set both short-term and long-term objectives.
• Link families to housing, job opportunities, social services, and additional community resources.
• Offer mentorship, advocacy, and support to those in need.
• Assist families in developing life skills, coping mechanisms, healthy relationships, budgeting techniques, parenting skills, and problem-solving strategies.
• Formulate and uphold safety and treatment plans using Case Management Pro.
• Record sessions, case notes, and reports according to required timelines.
• Monitor safety issues and provide crisis intervention as necessary.
• Document the utilization of evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing.
• Ensure clients comprehend and adhere to program expectations and the handbook.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and team members.
• Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision activities.
• Comply with agency policies, confidentiality standards, and DCS requirements.
• Provide services in clients' homes and community settings, involving frequent local travel and virtual communication.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field is preferred.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma, GED, or Associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of direct casework services experience involving children and families.
• Preferably, experience working with children and families is desired.
• Strongly preferred experience in home-based, child welfare, or community-based settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to build rapport and engage effectively with families.
• Skills in crisis management and problem-solving.
• Ability to operate independently in community-based environments.
• Proficient organization and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of trauma-informed and strength-based methodologies.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and current auto insurance are required.
• Must be able to pass background checks and required clearances.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain such certification.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings and weekends is necessary.
• Must be trained and proficient in the mandated evidence-based practices.
• Flexible scheduling tailored to client availability.
• Work environment that is both home-based and community-oriented.

• Occasional weekend availability may be required.
