This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct daily inspections of machinery, encompassing fluids, wear components, tires, glass, and overall equipment condition.
• Promptly report any equipment malfunctions and necessary maintenance.
• Operate assigned heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Modify operations to accommodate varying traffic, soil, and weather conditions.
• Employ GPS systems and interpret grade stakes and hubs for precise grade control and finishing.
• Efficiently manage materials during excavation, loading, placement, grading, and utility installation.
• Travel consistently to project sites and engage in work at designated locations for prolonged durations.
• Assist and support the crew as required.
• Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• At least 3 years of experience operating heavy earthmoving machinery, including motor graders, scrapers, dozers, or excavators.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in operating industry-specific equipment.
• Willingness to assist with labor and support the crew.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel continuously and work at various project locations.
