Healthcare Analytics Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilizes sophisticated analytics to uncover essential insights into the drivers of member behavior and preferences.

• Engages with business leaders and internal partners to leverage insights for testing and promoting product innovation and improvement.

• Evaluates program outcomes and showcases value, aiding in client acquisition and retention while supporting data-driven strategic decision-making.

• Integrates various sources of complex data to create and develop reports that address business inquiries.

• Works collaboratively with business stakeholders across the organization to identify analytics requirements and deliver plans to fulfill those needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare, or another health science-related field is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in health care analytics, including data extraction, manipulation, repository construction, and interpretation is required OR three (3) years of similar experience with a relevant Master’s degree.

• Proficiency in Visio or other flowcharting tools is preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as Excel, Statistical Analysis Software (SAS), Structured Query Language (SQL), Accelerated Query Tables (AQT), and Windows-based query software.

• Familiarity with actuarial practices and underwriting methods related to health insurance is preferred.
