This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Perform administrative duties for Care Coordinators, which include:
• Entering assessments into MMIS
• Inputting authorizations
• Updating staff locations and assignments in MnCHOICES during new enrollments
• Transferring contacts with group number modifications of the same product in Guiding Care
• Managing member correspondence
• Each Care Coordinator team is assigned a Support Staff to report activities in Guiding Care
• High School diploma or equivalent, along with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in handling administrative responsibilities
• Experience with data and information entry for Medica member authorizations
• Ability to communicate effectively with Medica care coordinator staff
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with internal clients within the care coordination department
• Strong organizational abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently
• Preferred experience: Familiarity with a healthcare organization or health plan setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of or experience with medical terminology is beneficial but not required.
