Health Screener

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct biometric health screenings and blood draw assessments at various client locations.

• Carry out clinical evaluations, including capillary/finger stick blood tests, blood pressure readings, and biometric assessments.

• Uphold a high standard of patient care and confidentiality.

• Measure and document height, weight, BMI, and waist circumference for client employees during their health screenings.

• Precisely record all health screening results and patient information in a timely manner using electronic documentation on the tablet provided for the event.

• Adhere to all OSHA regulations for proper biohazard disposal, ensuring that all materials and waste are handled according to safety standards.

• Guarantee a positive, efficient, and professional health screening experience for each participant.

• Prepare screening stations at the worksite before the event and ensure the proper layout for optimal workflow.

• Conduct event cleanup post-screenings, ensuring the area is left clean, organized, and free of biohazardous materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current medical certification/licensure in one of the following: EMT, Paramedic, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant (MA), Not-Listed Health Certification, with case-by-case considerations based on the type and experience.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)

• Registered Nurse (RN or BSN)

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in health screenings or a related clinical field.

• Expertise in fingerstick blood collection.

• Proficiency in manual blood pressure measurement.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and strict compliance with PHI security.

• Strong professional presentation and excellent communication abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently as required.

• Exceptional time management skills to ensure smooth event operations.

• Preferably CPR Certified
