This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Assist the Contractor Safety Lead in formulating and enhancing contractor safety policies, standards, procedures, and operational playbooks.
• Oversee the implementation of new contractor safety resources, tools, and training modules for regional and business line teams.
• Aid in the creation and management of a worldwide "Contractor Safety Champions" network, facilitating communications, webinars, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Develop and sustain a centralized repository of contractor safety templates, including RAMS templates, inspection checklists, and performance review forms.
• Manage the digital contractor safety induction platform, ensuring that content is up-to-date, accessible, and that completion data is accurately tracked.
• Provide operational assistance to the contractor pre-qualification and vetting process team as required, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
• Support the broader HSSE Center of Excellence as necessary.
• Assist in the collection, validation, and management of contractor safety performance data from various global sources and systems.
• Maintain and enhance the global contractor safety performance dashboard, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of leading and lagging indicators.
• Conduct detailed trend analysis on contractor-related incidents, near misses, inspections, and audit findings to identify patterns and root causes.
• Prepare clear, concise, and visually engaging reports and presentations on contractor safety metrics for the Contractor Safety Lead, regional leaders, and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and promptly report any anomalies, non-compliance issues, or emerging risks to the Contractor Safety Lead.
• Assist in the development of business cases and ROI analyses for program enhancements and technology investments.
• Help design and execute contractor safety verification and assurance protocols, including audits and compliance checks.
• Coordinate and schedule contractor safety audits and inspections with regional teams, tracking completion and corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor compliance with JLL safety standards, documenting findings and assisting in the development of corrective action plans.
• Track the implementation status of contractor safety program elements across regions and business lines, maintaining a centralized implementation tracker.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the contractor safety program by collecting feedback from operational teams and identifying opportunities to streamline processes.
• Organize cross-functional meetings and working sessions related to the development and deployment of the contractor safety program.
• Assist the Contractor Safety Lead in preparing and delivering presentations, training sessions, and business updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between the global program team and regional/local teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Act as a power user and subject matter expert for HSSE technology platforms related to contractor safety management, such as incident reporting systems, contractor management platforms, and learning management systems.
• Assist in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing digital tools and technology solutions for contractor safety.
• Provide training and troubleshooting support to end-users on contractor safety technology platforms.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in HSSE, with specific exposure to contractor safety data analysis or HSSE program coordination.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in collecting, managing, and analyzing safety data.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and reporting tools is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently with precision and accountability.
• Familiarity with HSSE technology platforms, learning management systems, and digital tools.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and provide user support effectively.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
