This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• The Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Specialist is responsible for overseeing regional TTA initiatives for rural health providers in Florida.
• The primary duties of this position include executing tasks related to a training and technical assistance project, guided by senior management, and offering support to junior team members.
• This role entails triaging and managing the coordination of personalized training and technical assistance while also engaging in universal technical assistance activities.
• Responsibilities will involve direct collaboration with health providers, facilitating learning collaboratives, assigning and overseeing the deployment of a team of health delivery subject matter experts, utilizing technology platforms for training management and deployment, and aiding data and evaluation teams in assessment and monitoring activities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, behavioral/social sciences, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, coordinating, delivering, and supporting capacity building; health delivery or health system transformation; applying instructional design, human-centered design, and adult learning principles to TTA design and/or delivery; facilitating webinars using online communication platforms; managing multiple TA assignments and monitoring SMEs; as well as the ability to think analytically, document tasks thoroughly, and efficiently plan work.
• Experience with training and technical assistance technologies is preferred, including tracking systems, communication systems, and webinar software.
• The ideal candidate will have experience supporting or implementing federal health transformation initiatives, particularly involving CMS or HRSA-funded projects or health system initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills are essential, along with experience and confidence in engaging with diverse audiences, including government clients, subject matter experts, and healthcare leaders and providers.
• Candidates must be comfortable facilitating client meetings, peer learning collaborative sessions, and routine communications with healthcare providers and SMEs.
