This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Provide support to the product team throughout the entire feature development lifecycle, leveraging extensive expertise in health insurance and operational insights.
• Convert comprehensive health insurance processes — including underwriting, policy administration, claims, renewals, and billing — into precise product requirements and functional documentation.
• Validate and establish business rules, decision engines, and workflow logic.
• Engage actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify functionality, workflows, and business logic.
• Design to maximize Straight-Through Processing (STP) across product flows.
• Define automation rules, decision-making frameworks, and exception handling processes.
• Convert regulatory and policy requirements into system logic and product features.
• Conduct research on market trends and competitors to identify feature gaps and emerging opportunities.
• Serve as a liaison between Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
• Contribute to discussions and prioritization of the product roadmap.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in the insurance sector.
• At least 5 years of direct experience in health insurance.
• Experience in two or more health insurance functions: product setup, underwriting, pricing, policy administration, endorsements, billing, claims, or renewals.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, technology, and business teams in a dynamic environment.
• Hands-on, results-driven, and enthusiastic about transforming domain knowledge into tangible product features.
• Systems thinker with an innate ability to comprehend how processes interconnect.
• Critical, analytical, forward-thinking, and innovative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven capability in client-facing roles, confidently managing clients and stakeholders.
