This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee the daily healthcare operations within the community to ensure that the healthcare needs of residents are adequately met.
• Guarantee that residents are treated with respect and dignity while maintaining high-quality care as their needs evolve.
• Ensure the delivery of consistent quality resident care and services across all shifts.
• Take on Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide duties as necessary to fulfill resident needs and staffing requirements.
• Assist in supervising licensed nursing personnel, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers.
• Provide continuous training and education for caregivers, including classroom instruction and situation-specific training.
• Manage staff schedules effectively.
• Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and the supervision and/or administration of medications.
• Conduct medication skills inventory checks and medication audits in accordance with Brookdale guidelines.
• Share on-call responsibilities as required.
• Education necessary to secure a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Possession of an LPN or LVN license.
• A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Capability to supervise licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers.
• Understanding of medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration.
• Ability to perform medication skills inventory checks and medication audits.
• Competence in managing staff schedules.
