This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.
• Take charge of and enhance the company's payment infrastructure, which encompasses pay-ins, payouts, anti-fraud measures, and payment operations.
• Develop and implement the payments strategy aligned with business growth, profitability, and market expansion objectives.
• Oversee the overall payments P&L and financial performance, focusing on acquiring costs, payout expenses, fraud costs, conversion impact, and budget management.
• Direct the complete implementation of new payment solutions, covering business case development, partner selection, integration, launch, and optimization.
• Spearhead strategic payment initiatives across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to enhance customer experience, conversion rates, payment performance, and product metrics.
• Contribute to the product strategy and prioritization within the payments domain.
• Establish and nurture relationships with PSPs, banks, and other payment partners.
• Ensure the resilience of payment infrastructure through failover capabilities, provider diversification, and scalable architecture.
• Manage business cases and financial models, including ROI analysis and investment assessments.
• Promote payment cost optimization and uncover monetization opportunities.
• Keep abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and payment solutions.
• Present the payment strategy, business cases, and performance outcomes to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
• Influence decision-making, align stakeholders, and facilitate execution in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing payments P&L and enhancing financial performance in high-volume settings.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven history of cost optimization, conversion enhancement, and revenue impact.
• Product-oriented leadership experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams.
• Understanding of product metrics and prioritization processes.
• Strategic mindset that combines hands-on execution with innovative and scalable payment solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Confident in presenting to executive leadership and C-level management.
• Entrepreneurial and proactive attitude with a high energy level and strong sense of ownership.
• In-depth knowledge of payment ecosystems, PSPs, acquiring processes, payouts, fraud prevention, and payment operations.
• Ability to work effectively within the CET timezone.
