This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Assist the presidency with organizational, administrative, and communication-related tasks.
• Manage processes, appointments, meeting requests, and their follow-ups.
• Draft letters, meeting requests, briefing notes, and succinct political background documents.
• Engage in communication with Members of the Bundestag, parliamentary offices, and policy contacts.
• Conduct research on pertinent parliamentary contacts and political topics.
• Maintain contact lists, case overviews, and records of meeting statuses.
• Prepare for and follow up on the presidency’s political meetings.
• Relay relevant information to the presidency in an organized manner.
• Assist with internal coordination among the presidency, federal board, committees, and other departments.
• A strong interest in politics, parliamentary activities, association work, and social issues.
• Prior experience in office organization, assistance, administration, public affairs, political communication, or project coordination is beneficial.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in managing sensitive information and confidential matters.
• A structured, meticulous, and reliable working style.
• A solid understanding of political processes, institutional communication, and formal correspondence.
• Professional demeanor when interacting with external contacts.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to consistently follow up on tasks.
• Proficient in digital tools, email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• A degree or training in political science, public administration, communications, law, economics, social sciences, or a related field is advantageous.
• A willingness to take on responsibilities in a role close to the presidential office.
