Head of Credit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Credit Strategy for Brazil: Formulate and consistently enhance credit policies for Tilt's operations in Brazil, leveraging analysis to reveal innovative insights that propel our business forward.

• Collaborate with the Data Science team: Work closely with the Data Science group to shape and implement models that address significant business challenges.

• Create Scalable Infrastructure: Establish frameworks, systems, and controls to effectively manage credit programs with high quality and resilience.

• Drive Growth with Leadership: Partner with leadership teams in Brazil and Tilt to develop strategies and growth plans while overseeing financial outcomes.

• Share Insights Across Markets: Collaborate with international credit and data science teams in the Philippines, Mexico, India, and the US to identify applicable strategies and facilitate their implementation.

• Foster Cross-Functional Partnerships: Work alongside product, engineering, marketing, and finance leaders to ensure that the team's efforts are aligned with the broader organizational objectives.

• Expand the Team: Recruit skilled analysts and team members to support new initiatives as the Brazilian business scales.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics — a quantitative background is a significant advantage.

• Over 6 years of industry experience in data analytics and credit risk management, preferably with exposure to the Brazilian market.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of analysts.

• Exceptionally strong problem-solving and communication abilities — capable of delving into complex details and presenting effectively to an executive audience.

• A strong desire to learn new tools and analytical techniques, keeping abreast of innovative trends and emerging products in the industry.

• Preference will be given to candidates located in São Paulo.
