This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take charge of the content strategy encompassing organic search, social media, video, written material, podcasts, and creator enablement. Clearly define our objectives, boundaries, and rationale.
• Establish and uphold the editorial standards. Create production workflows, quality benchmarks, and a sustainable cadence for the team.
• Lead by example. Initially, you will be responsible for writing, producing, and delivering a significant portion of the content personally. We anticipate that senior leaders will exemplify these standards.
• Build a strong team. Identify essential roles, recruit talented individuals, and facilitate their development.
• Drive quantifiable results. Establish a concise set of content KPIs and develop reporting mechanisms that link content production to pipeline growth, signups, and revenue.
• Collaborate across the organization. Work alongside Growth, Product Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure your efforts amplify theirs and vice versa.
• Leverage modern tools to enhance output. Identify and implement AI workflows, automations, and editorial systems that empower a small content team to achieve exceptional results.
• 8+ years of experience in content marketing or content-driven growth. You can demonstrate traffic, ranking positions, leads, and revenue impacts connected to your efforts.
• Hands-on content producer. You are capable of writing articles, scripting videos, briefing editors, and approving final cuts. Though you are in a senior role, you remain engaged with the work.
• Proficient across multiple content formats. You possess skills in SEO articles, video scripts, social media, case studies, podcasts, and long-form content. While you don’t need to be an expert in every format, a strong proficiency across all is essential.
• Extensive understanding of how SaaS and creator businesses thrive: positioning, offers, lead generation, conversion, and retention. You can confidently engage in tactical discussions with experienced operators.
• Solid foundation in organic search. You are knowledgeable in keyword research, technical hygiene, internal linking, content briefs, and have a credible perspective on AI search.
• Proven ability to hire and nurture content talent. You possess skills in interviewing, coaching, and facilitating growth.
• Results-oriented mindset. You strive for the best possible outcomes, eschewing mediocrity. You measure and analyze what you deliver, refusing to accept anything less than excellence.
• Outstanding communication skills. As we operate in a remote-first, asynchronous environment, your communication must be impactful and effective.
• Your contributions will have a direct impact on creators and users on the platform. You will engage in initiatives that are rapidly implemented and meaningful.
