This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead and cultivate a high-quality College and Career Counseling program for students in Grades 6–12.
• Offer personalized college, career, and post-secondary planning advice to students and their families.
• Assist students throughout every phase of the college application journey, including selecting colleges, crafting essays, managing applications, meeting deadlines, and understanding admissions requirements.
• Establish strong connections with families through ongoing communication, workshops, webinars, and guidance on admissions, testing, scholarships, and financial aid.
• Create and implement college readiness programs, including workshops, events, and resources accessible to students at all grade levels.
• Keep precise records of student plans, applications, acceptances, scholarships, and post-secondary destinations, providing regular updates to school leadership.
• Oversee all operational elements of college and career counseling to ensure efficient systems, processes, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, learning coaches, school administrators, admissions staff, marketing teams, and the broader Inspired network to enhance student success and enrollment growth.
• Manage recommendation processes and advocate for student needs throughout the school community.
• Develop and lead SAT/ACT preparation initiatives and supervise the Postgraduate (PG) and Dual Enrollment programs, fostering growth and exceptional student outcomes.
• Engage in the broader school community and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by school leadership.
• A Master's degree in School Counseling, Educational Leadership, School Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in college, career, and post-secondary destination counseling within a school context.
• Experience in an independent, private, or high-performing secondary school environment is preferred.
• Background in Career and Technical Education (CTE), college and career readiness, or similar pathways is highly desirable.
• A teaching background is a valuable asset but not mandatory.
• Comprehensive knowledge of college admissions processes, career pathways, and post-secondary planning.
• Experience in supporting high-achieving students, including athletes, performers, or those engaged in elite-level activities, is advantageous.
• Familiarity with online or virtual learning platforms is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to engage effectively with students, families, colleagues, and external partners.
• A polished and professional demeanor, both in person and on virtual platforms.
• A self-motivated mindset with the ambition and initiative to develop and continuously enhance a top-tier counseling program.
• Strong creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills, with the capability to present ideas and data in a compelling and impactful manner.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative mindset coupled with the confidence to work independently and spearhead new initiatives.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to college conferences, school events, and student-related meetings.
